We have been pretty darn reclusive recently. For a Summer on the eastern seaboard we haven't really gotten out of the house nearly as often as we should have...

The reason is; we've been rather busy!
As we mentioned in our New Years post, 2013 marks five years since we released our first collection and we have a number of special things in the works, kicking off with a brand new website and *newly* incorporated online shop...

Even this here twoshoes blog has had a scrub up! I think we can all agree floating in amongst these candy floss clouds is rather wonderful.

To celebrate this re-launch, we are offering a whopping 40% off everything from our most recent SS2013/14 La Luna collection. And yes, that includes the jewellery. Madness! Tonight marks the official end of Summer here in Sydney *sob*. And as if to give a taste of things to come the weather cruelly dropped 10 degrees in the middle of the day and whipped through some lashing rain and wind.

And so we sit here in G&J HQ sipping tea, sifting through and sorting pieces into SALE and non-sale piles...

This is the biggest sale in G&J history and runs until March 31st or until sold. As you all know we make our pieces in such hysterically small runs (some of only 6 pieces!!) that in most cases there are only one or two pieces remaining in a particular style...

~ All clothing is currently discounted between 25% and a whopping 70%...
~ Select brooches, necklaces and earrings at least 20% off...
~ Straw hat sale of up to 50% off (wowza!)...
~ Flirty floral combs all handmade by yours truly are discounted by 15%
~ New CLEARANCE category for end of line and one-off items. There are some fantastic bargains to be had in this category in particular.

Be Gone Winter! Our season ending sale!

We would like to preempt the very end of winter (please please!) with an End of Winter Sale! All pieces from our The Gypsy Daughter collection will be reduced by up to 35% - including our 100% wool pencil skirts, button-back blouses and lace collars.
The sale extends from now until 31st August when we hope Winter will finally bid its fond farewells and leave us with a balmy spring. Yippee!

We love a good peplum, and this delightful mix of colours and print had us pining for weather which allows for uncovered arms.

You know, walking down the street with the sun in your hair and a carefree skip in your feet...

*sigh*

Then whilst having a little wander through ASOS this morning we saw this:
